Convicted Murderers over 75 May be Eligible for Death Penalty

Yesterday, the 18th Conference of the 11th NPC Standing Committee decided to amend China's penal code. In the past, criminals over the age of 75 have been exempt from the death penalty. Now, if a criminal over the age of 75 commits murder through an especially cruel method, it is possible for them to receive a death sentence.
