    Wang Jiping, member of CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee, noted that in 2009, the municipal government leased 6,000 hectares of urban construction land last year for a total of 92.3 billion yuan. Land transfers of about the same area in 2008 only raised 50.3 billion yuan.
