The average price of housing across 70 large- and medium-sized cities in China grew by 12.4 percent in May when compared to last year and were up 0.2 percent when compared with April. The average price of housing in Beijing however, decreased by 0.1 percent on the previous month, the first time in 15 months that the figure has registered a month-on-month decline.
