    1. Former Chairman of Beijing Capital Airport Stands Trial

    The case of Zhang Zhizhong (張志忠), the former chairman of Beijing's Capital Airport, began being heard at Hengshui City's intermediate People's Court in Hebei yesterday. The former executive is facing charges of corruption with prosecutors alleging that Zhang accepted over 4.7 million yuan in bribes between 1996 and 2010 when he served as the head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and General Manager of Capital Airports Holding Company. Zhang admitted to the alleged crimes but no sentence was announced.

    2. Gutter Oil Found in Government Canteens

    As part of a state-wide crack down on illegal workshops producing and selling fake food and drugs, illegal factories manufacturing and selling fake products, Shenzhen public security organs have revealed that gutter oil (地溝油), recycled oil from dubious sources that has been illegally reprocessed and introduced back into the cooking oil supply chain, was being used in some of the canteens located within government offices in the city.

    3. Shanghai Issues First Local Government Bonds

    Shanghai issued the country's first local government bonds in more than a decase yesterday, as part of a pilot project aimed to help financially-challenged local governments raise more funds. The government sold three-year fixed-rate bonds worth 3.6 billion yuan at a yield of 3.1 percent and five-year fixed-rate bonds worth 3.5 billion yuan at 3.3 percent. The three-year municipal bonds were 3.5 times subscribed while the five-year bonds were 3.1 times subscribed, driven by strong investment demand.

    1、PM2.5將出臺 空氣質量已成社會關注焦點

    北方地區灰霾天氣頻發,其“元兇”是可吸入細顆粒物。大氣中PM2.5濃度的高低直接決定了灰霾天氣的多少,據此公眾可以簡單判定空氣質量的好壞。PM10所指的顆粒物,主要來自沙塵等機械過程,而PM2.5的顆粒物是指大氣中直徑小于等于2.5微米的顆粒物,也稱為可入肺顆粒物,大多來自燃料的燃燒,它含的有害物質比來自機械過程的顆粒物要多得多。北京市環保局新聞發言人杜少中表示,北京有能力也有設備監測PM2.5,并且也有監測數據,但數據的公布得服從國家統一安排。

    2、2011中國百大跨國公司:中石化石油中信列前三

    中國企業聯合會、中國企業家協會日前發布了“2011中國100大跨國公司及跨國指數”,中國石油化工集團公司、中國石油天然氣集團公司和中國中信集團公司名列2011中國100大跨國公司前三甲。名單中100家企業分布在38個行業,其中最多的3個行業為建筑業11家、黑色冶金和加工業10家、一般有色冶金加工業8家。

    3、央視專題調查電信聯通壟斷案 采訪專家回應質疑

    有關“寬帶接入”的反壟斷輿論戰的第二場戰役已經打響。針對《人民郵電報》對央視有關報道的駁斥,央視官網推出專題,直接表示電信和聯通是“南北割據”,質疑兩家企業“偽競爭”,對接入服務商搞“黑名單”,導致“企業、消費者皆被‘坑’”。之前的11月9日,國家發改委接受央視采訪時,披露發改委正在針對中國電信和中國聯通寬帶接入市場展開反壟斷調查。隨后工信部下屬的《人民郵電報》用頭版文章指責央視“混淆視聽、誤導公眾”,由此引發了輿論戰。

    4、蘋果來華會見環保組織 確認整改15家供應商

    “毒蘋果”事件又有了新進展。11月15日上午,蘋果公司美國總部派出代表來到北京,和中國的5家環保組織進行了長達3小時的會談,討論怎樣改善供應鏈的污染問題。參與會談的公眾環境研究中心主任馬軍告訴記者,蘋果介紹了對供應商的核查情況,但沒有披露污染企業的具體名單。

    5、京滬高鐵被召回動車將恢復運營

    今年7月溫州動車事故后,因安全問題被召回的54列動車經過整改和反復測試,目前將要恢復運營。京滬高鐵被召回動車中有六列將于周三恢復運營。如果一切按計劃進行,剩余的動車將在12月6日前恢復運營。溫州事故促使相關部門對高速鐵路系統的安全進行全面評估,并對事故進行了徹查,調查結果原本預計于9月中旬公布。

    6、部分進口豬肉因含瘦肉精被退貨銷毀

    新華社消息,多批來自美國、加拿大等地的豬肉產品被我國檢驗檢疫機構檢出俗稱“瘦肉精”的萊克多巴胺,目前這些豬肉已經被退貨或者銷毀,沒有在國內市場銷售。據國家質檢總局日前通報,這些問題豬肉產品產地包括美國、加拿大和丹麥,這些產品都被檢測出萊克多巴胺,據了解,萊克多巴胺是一種醫藥原料,能提高肌肉組織生長速度。我國禁止將其用于養殖業。

    7、紐約警方深夜清場“占領華爾街”大本營

    新華社消息,美國紐約警方15日凌晨展開突擊行動,對“占領華爾街”活動的大本營曼哈頓祖科蒂公園進行徹底清場,這是近兩個月來“占領華爾街”活動抗議者首次被強制驅逐。在清場過程中,約200名抗議者被警方逮捕。紐約市長布隆伯格在15日早間舉行的新聞發布會上說,清場行動是因為示威者在祖科蒂公園安營扎寨,影響了周圍居民的正常生活,并帶來越來越多的健康和火災隱患,所以政府下令對公園進行清場。
