1. KFC Raises Prices
KFC lifted the prices of some of their products being sold in mainland China yesterday. The price increases ranged from between 5 mao and 1 yuan per item. The fast food chain has lifted the price of their special Chinese "breakfast menu" item of "Century Eggs Congee and Deep-fried doughstick" from 6 to 7 yuan. The price of a medium-sized and large coke have also been raised to 7 and 8 yuan respectively. This is the second time this year that KFC has raised prices in China.
2. Paper: No Report Recommending VIE Ban Submitted to State Council
The Shanghai Securities News, quoting an anonymous source from a central government ministry, says that reports that the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) had submitted a report to the State Council recommending that China's central government make the VIE company structure, one favoured by many of the country's largerst internet firms, illegal, are false. The newspaper claims that the so-called report to the State Council is in fact an internal report produced by the CSRC's research department and says it has not been "submitted to the State Council."
3. Chongqing to Expand Scope of Property Tax
Eight months after first introducing a pilot property tax, the Chongqing tax bureau yesterday published new rules that expand the scope of the tax on their official website. According to the new regulations, as of Oct 1 this year, free-standing commerical residential properties (villa), newly-purchased up-market properties and the second (or additional) properties of people who own property in the city but do not work, run a business or have their hukou registered in Chongqing, will all be subject to the property tax. The new regulations will apply to properties within the nine main urban districts of the western metropolis. The new regulations also differ from what was announced in Jan, in that the new rules will apply to all existing properties the meet the criteria, regardless of when they were purchased, whereas the initial tax only applied to transactions which were completed after the new property tax was announced.

1、中國首富獲中共中央候補委員提名
近日有國內知名媒體報道，中共十七大代表、中國首富、三一重工董事長梁穩根已作為中共中央候補委員的候選人，接受組織部門的考察，其候選人資格是由全國工商聯提名。如果梁穩根當選中央候補委員，他將成為中央委員會首個民營企業家委員。
9月26日，長沙市委組織部人士向記者表示“梁穩根只是作為十八大中央候補委員人選走完了組織考察程序，進一步的結果還要看上級組織部門的指示。”
中央委員會是中共最高決策層，此前除高級黨政官員，只有少數央企或地方國企老總中的佼佼者才有資格入選，典型例子有海爾集團張瑞敏和春蘭集團陶建幸。
梁穩根2004年入黨，2007年成為中共十七大代表，此前他還曾擔任第八、九、十屆全國人大代表。如果梁穩根當選中央候補委員，他將成為中央委員會首個民營企業家委員。
不過，企業界出身的中央候補委員，并不要求卸任商業職務，也不一定要擔任黨委或者行政實職，這就意味著梁可以在履行中央候補委員職責的同時，繼續掌舵三一重工。
2、全國抓獲瘦肉精涉案人員900余名
國務院食品安全委員會辦公室負責人表示，目前，嚴厲打擊食品非法添加和濫用食品添加劑的專項工作有效遏制了該類案件多發頻發勢頭。
該負責人介紹，5個月來，全國公安機關共破獲食品非法添加案件1200余起，其中，涉及“瘦肉精”的案件，各地共偵破120起，抓獲涉案人員980多名。
據最高人民檢察院統計，今年上半年全國檢察機關共立案偵查涉及食品安全的國家工作人員職務犯罪37件、57人。今年以來，全國已經有48名國家工作人員因食品安全問題受到不同程度的黨紀、政紀處分，還有近百名國家工作人員（包括河南“瘦肉精”案件）的行政問責正在調查處理之中。
3、多人稱K256次列車員打死乘客
江西電視臺報道，26日上午上海鐵路局管內從深圳西開往合肥的K256次列車途徑南昌站時，車上15號車廂多名乘客向記者反映了26日凌晨在這趟列車上的打人事件。
據稱，列車上的一名乘客與列車工作人員發生口角，另一名男性中年乘客進行勸架，卻被列車上的3名工作人員毆打，其中一人身穿列車長制服。江西贛州市急救中心表示，120急救趕到時被打者已經死亡。
這些乘客還特意準備了一份文字材料，上面印有整整20位乘客的簽名和指印，給這起事件作證。“全都是同一個車廂的目擊證人，全部按了手印。” 乘客賴女士說，事發時間大概在凌晨0點05分，當時列車?？吭谮M州火車站，這時15號車廂里，坐在她身旁的一位乘客和列車工作人員發生口角，被打的人是去勸架的。
我們認為，在這條報道中，我們只看到了乘客一方的說法，無法客觀的做出判斷，但是人命關天，我們希望當地公安機關能夠盡快介入調查，及時向社會公告事情的真相，依法追求當事人責任。
4、國際油價上周暴跌9%，國內油價節后或下降
因歐債危機加劇等悲觀情緒影響，國際油價上周暴跌9%，截至昨天，紐約油價仍在每桶80美元以下波動，布倫特原油期貨價格報102.6美元每桶。
若后期布倫特原油價格保持在104至105美元/桶附近，受此帶動，衡量國內成品油調價的三地原油變化率再度由正轉負。國慶長假后將出現調價“窗口”。
但國際油價暴跌后，國內多地柴油批發價卻接近或逼平最高零售價。
對此，有分析人士認為是此前油價下調預期落空，批發商囤貨導致。易貿資訊分析師廖凱舜則認為因為供應緊張。國內主營煉廠處于檢修集中期，本周開工率跌至年內最低水平，且中石化高橋事故后，開工率恐再走低。檢修高峰10月底才結束，即使10月中旬國家下調零售價，此前的零售優惠也難再現。
5、IMF稱中國貨幣政策應該適度
國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)26日在北京召開研討會，其官員表示，目前中國采取的貨幣刺激政策和削減公眾支出措施是適度的，也使經濟增長出現健康的減緩。中國正在平穩實現軟著陸，除非出現進一步的食品沖擊，通脹應在年底降至4.5%。中國貨幣與財政狀況應繼續回歸至更為中性的態勢，所采取的任何貨幣政策都應該適度。
IMF駐華代表司馬喆(MurtazaSyed)表示，中國銀行業面臨的最大風險包括地產泡沫、前兩年的過度貸款以及影子銀行。他強調房地產泡沫破裂的風險，“通過IMF所做的壓力測試，如果房價下降30%，不僅是小開發商及按揭者將面臨問題，相關行業也將陷入困境。”
6、西班牙斗牛告別巴塞羅那
9月25日，被外界譽為反斗牛中心的西班牙第二大城市巴塞羅那舉行“最后一場”斗牛賽。至此，不僅本賽季將告一段落，這項被稱為西班牙“國技”的運動也將永久告別加泰羅尼亞大區的首府巴塞羅那。
