Pork Prices May Push June CPI Growth Over 6%
Experts say that rising food prices and especially the increase in the price of pork may push China's Consumer Price Index to increase by more than 6% in June. Analysts have put rising pork prices down to supply shortages caused by widespread losses in the pig breeding industry in the first half of 2010 which pushed many farmers out of the industry and also the frequent outbreak of disease.
