    NDRC Strengthens Electricity Pricing Policies
In order to cope with the summer energy peak, the National Development and Reform Commission has issued a notice aimed at standardizing electricity prices which includes a ban on all types of unauthorized preferential policies in relation to electricity offered at discount prices and also prohibits local governments from pressuring energy producers to lower the price at which they sell electricity on to the grid.
