We'd like to inform all our regular readers that due to the extended Chinese National Holidays and the fact that the Economic Observer is a weekly publication, the English-language edition of the Economic Observer will not be updated from October 1st through to October 11th.

We look forward to uploading highlights from the October 5th issue of the newspaper on Monday, October 12.
