Scathed Chinese Oil Painting Exports
China's oil painting exports have suffered a heavy blow from the on-going economic slowdown. Dafen village, in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, is China's largest and one of the world's three largest oil painting production bases. It has been struck by weakening global demand, especially from US hotels and families.
